Engagement in Downtown Los Angeles, Melissa & Robert

We’ve spent a really enjoyable spring morning in Downtown Los Angeles, California, taking pictures of Melissa and Robert for their engagement photo session. They’re such a fun couple with the sweetest and most adorable dog, Obi. We met in front of Angels Flight Railway and had some shots there, it has been their first date location (so romantic!).

Later we got to Grand Central Market and took some pictures there. This is such an amazing place, full of colors and delicious smells of food from all over the world. Here you can find lots of wonderful neon signs too (we truly love them).

We’ve been so glad we got to capture their love in such a beautiful place. After the market, we’ve had a long walk through the streets of DTLA among its amazing murals and beautiful buildings. We took some pictures of Melissa and Robert hugging under the sign of an old cinema theatre and kissing just right in the middle of a crossroad!

We really can’t wait to shoot your wedding guys, see you very very soon.

About the photographers

Mary and Maurizio are wedding photographers in Italy. They love capturing moments of genuine happiness and fun, feelings and emotions.
They shoot weddings in Tuscany, Como Lake, Apulia, Amalfi Coast of course, and abroad. They’ve worked together in adv agencies for several years, dealing with fashion and lifestyle, and this still has a strong influence on their style. Travels and cinema are also some of their greatest sources of inspiration.
Their photos are always devised with a look that comes directly from advertising, fashion and movies. They translate true moments of life through a kind of glam eye, they “aim to document reality in a glamorous way, always without taking away spontaneity from our shoots”.
They love to make their couples feel at ease in order to let them look spontaneous and gorgeous in their photos. Their main goal is catching authentic moments of joy and raw emotions
