Wedding Proposal on a boat in Positano, Amalfi Coast

Wedding Proposal on a boat in Positano, Amalfi Coast
Intro

Can you imagine one of the most romantic places to have a wedding proposal? Amalfi Coast is for sure one of the most amazing ones. This has been the backdrop of Joseph’s proposal to Courtney, a very sweet couple coming from Texas. We were super excited… almost like the future groom! We definitely love shooting proposals. Joseph has chosen the best spot and the best time of the day for such a special moment: sunset in front of Positano village.

We’ve had such a lovely trip together, along the Amalfi Coast and have had the chance to admire Positano’s colorful houses from the sea looking at the sun fading behind the Faraglioni in Capri. We’ve also sailed close to the Li Galli Islands, that according to old legends, were inhabited by the sirens who seduced sailors with their melodious voices, a place full of mystery and charm.

Then as soon as we were in the most romantic spot, Joseph fell on his knees to propose and the beautiful Courtney immediately said yes among the waves in her stunning red dress.

About the photographers

Mary and Maurizio are wedding photographers in Italy. They love capturing moments of genuine happiness and fun, feelings and emotions.
They shoot weddings in Tuscany, Como Lake, Apulia, Amalfi Coast of course, and abroad. They’ve worked together in adv agencies for several years, dealing with fashion and lifestyle, and this still has a strong influence on their style. Travels and cinema are also some of their greatest sources of inspiration.
Their photos are always devised with a look that comes directly from advertising, fashion and movies. They translate true moments of life through a kind of glam eye, they “aim to document reality in a glamorous way, always without taking away spontaneity from our shoots”.
They love to make their couples feel at ease in order to let them look spontaneous and gorgeous in their photos. Their main goal is catching authentic moments of joy and raw emotions
