Terre di Nano wedding photographers
Terre di Nano is a 19th-century country house in the Val d’Orcia, near Pienza and Montepulciano, with its own vineyards and about a thousand olive trees. We photographed Kelly and Parker’s wedding there: the ceremony at sunset under a round arch of flowers, portraits in the vines, dinner in the olive grove.

Terre di Nano is a working estate: about seven hectares of vineyards, mostly Sangiovese and around a thousand olive trees for its own oil, on the hills near Monticchiello. The house is a renovated 19th-century country home and the estate does the catering itself, with its own kitchen garden, bread and wine.
At Kelly and Parker’s wedding the ceremony was on the lawn with the wooded hills behind, dinner was at one long table under the olive trees with lights strung through the branches and the party moved inside the villa for dancing. In between there is plenty to walk to for portraits: rows of vines and a white gravel drive lined with tall cypresses.

Kelly and Parker said their vows at golden hour and the photos show why that timing works here: the sun sits low over the hills right behind the arch and lights up the flowers and Kelly’s veil from behind.
The morning is softer. They got ready inside the villa, with sunlight coming in through the old windows. Around the ceremony there is still time for a short walk in the vines and down the cypress drive and after that the olive grove and its lights take over.

Kelly and Parker got ready at the villa with their closest friends and family around them. Their planner was Emily Charlotte and the flowers by Rebel Rebel went from peach roses and dusty pinks on the ceremony arch to the long table in the olive grove. Parker wore a brown suit; Kelly a light slip dress with sheer sleeves.
They married in front of the arch with their guests close around them and the sun going down behind. Dinner was under the olive trees, lit by lanterns and strings of bulbs and the night finished with dancing inside the villa, music by Fix The Music.
